Terms of Service

The terms governing your use of Paymenty. Last updated: June 2026.

Note: This is a summary structure of our Terms of Service. The full binding legal version is provided to your Organisation during onboarding and reviewed by qualified legal counsel.

1. Definitions

In these Terms, “Organisation” means the entity holding a Paymenty account, “Customer” means a person making a payment, “Transaction” means any payment processed through Paymenty, and “Settlement” means the transfer of funds to your designated bank account.

2. Eligibility

To use Paymenty, your Organisation must be legally registered in a supported jurisdiction, pass our KYC/KYB verification, and agree to ongoing AML and sanctions obligations. We may decline applications at our discretion.

3. Permitted Use

Paymenty may be used solely for lawful commercial activities. Prohibited activities include, without limitation: gambling, adult content, unlicensed financial services, sanctions evasion, and any activity prohibited by our Acceptable Use Policy.

4. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials, for the actions of all users you invite, and for keeping the information on your account accurate and up to date.

5. Payment Processing

You authorise Paymenty to process payments on your behalf. You are liable for chargebacks, refunds, and disputed transactions. We will support you through the dispute resolution process and apply industry best practices.

6. Settlement

Funds are settled to your verified bank account in accordance with the schedule shown in your dashboard. We may withhold or delay settlement on suspicion of fraud, regulatory concern, or material breach of these Terms.

7. Fees & Billing

All fees are transparent and visible in your dashboard. Subscription fees are billed in advance; transaction fees are deducted at settlement. We may amend our fees with 30 days notice.

8. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use Paymenty for any prohibited activity, including without limitation gambling, adult content, unlicensed fundraising, sanctions evasion, money laundering, or any activity that violates applicable law.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement with 30 days written notice. We may terminate immediately for material breach, regulatory concern, or violation of our policies. Outstanding obligations survive termination.

10. Liability

Our liability under these Terms is capped at the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the relevant claim. We are not liable for force majeure events or for the acts or omissions of third-party providers (e.g. card networks, banks).

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Belgian law and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Brussels Courts.
